First time Cutting a Driveway on Our Off-Grid Arizona High-Desert Property

Breaking ground!
We cut our very first driveway onto our off-grid property in the Arizona high desert. The land is completely raw—no structures, no utilities, just wind, sand, and incredible views of the Painted Desert.

To get started on this new journey, we used GPS coordinates to lay out our property lines and began carving a simple driveway so we can actually pull our car off the road and onto the land. It’s a small first step, but it feels huge as we start turning this dream into something real.
