And here we are again with you! Today’s stroll through Kyiv covers some of Ukraine's most famous historic, cultural, and architectural landmarks — sights you’ll remember for a lifetime after seeing them. This walking tour starts at the walls of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, a unique UNESCO World Heritage Site founded in 1051 as a cave monastery on Kyiv’s outskirts. It’s named after the caves where its earliest inhabitants lived. In the modern era, it became a center for Orthodox pilgrimage, and in 2023, along with Saint Sophia Cathedral, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Throughout the route, you’ll witness the daily city life of Kyiv locals and visitors, hear the sounds of the capital’s streets, and see many interesting places that every tourist should visit. For those who haven’t been to Kyiv in a while, it’ll be interesting to see both new and familiar hidden spots around the city. Each place radiates the cozy, autumnal charm of the city, inviting you to settle in, pick up a favorite book, wrap yourself in a blanket, enjoy a tasty drink and snack, and stay a little longer.
