El Yuma
An upbeat mix of Cuban pop with salsa, funk, and rap, ‘El Yuma' is a humorous account of Cuban immigrants to Canada who so enthusiastically embrace the culture of their hew home that they begin drift from their roots and native language, becoming ‘yumas’ (Cuban slang for foreigners from any non Spanish-speaking country).

Wilver Pedrozo & Charangon Del Norte
Multi-instrumentalist Wilver Pedrozo leads this super-star packed, powerhouse, 16 piece-ensemble that has been called the Los Van Van of Toronto. Charangon del Norte is a uniquely Cuban fusion, incorporating jazz, Latin funk and global music elements with various classic Cuban forms such as charanga, changui and pilon.
