DHARAN RUN - A Sporting Extravaganza, East Nepal

We were fortunate enough to be at the 11th Newa Charity 10k Run in Dharan last year. Dharan Run is by far the most well managed and heavily participated sports event in Nepal. We were there a couple of days early to see the backend preparations for the event. Many big names also attended the event while the Brigade of the Band of British Gurkhas presented their musical talent before the event kickoff. This and much more of how Dharan Run went. Hope this video will shed light on the grand event, how it works, why it began and how important a sports event it is for Dharan and the whole of Nepal.
