Learn how to make beautiful chocolate butterflies to decorate your cakes and desserts. This simple technique creates elegant edible decorations that will make any homemade cake look stunning.

00:22 Ingredients:
1oz. (30g) dark chocolate or any you kind chocolate
1 tbsp. finely chopped chocolate for tempering
Instructions:
1. Start by printing out the butterfly image templates, or draw your own.
2. Melt 1 oz. of dark chocolate. Once it melted, add 1tbsp. of finely chopped chocolate and stir well until completely smooth. Then transfer it into a piping bag and snip off a small corner.
3. Place a piece of parchment paper over your butterfly pattern on a flat board or baking tray.
4. Pipe the chocolate to trace the butterfly pattern on the parchment paper.
5. Once you’ve piped the butterflies, place the paper in an open book or any curved surface to let them set. Keep in the fridge about 15 minutes.
6. When the chocolate has set, gently remove the butterflies from the parchment paper.
7. And that’s it. Our chocolate butterflies are ready for cake decorating.
