Vizhinjam Sea Port Second Phase : വിഴിഞ്ഞം രാജ്യാന്തര തുറമുഖത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാംഘട്ട വികസനത്തിന്റെ നിര്മാണോദ്ഘാടനം ഭദ്രദീപം കൊളുത്തി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന് നിര്വഹിച്ചു.
The second phase of construction of the Vizhinjam Port will officially begin today. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the second phase of construction at a ceremony scheduled for 4 pm. Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will attend as the chief guest. This phase will see the completion of the port’s overall development. Construction is expected to be completed by 2028, after which Vizhinjam will be fully operational. Construction works worth ₹10,000 crore will be carried out during this phase.
