The “Frozen” Feeling After the Holidays (Home Reset + Mindset)

The “frozen” feeling after the holidays is so real… so today I’m doing a cozy winter home reset while sharing an honest mindset shift for January.
After-Christmas clearance haul + taking down Christmas decor + keeping a little winter magic (evergreens, snowflakes, cozy candlelight).

In today’s vlog, I’m unpacking my after-Christmas decor finds (yes… I bought two more trees 😅), packing up the holiday glow, and re-styling my home so it doesn’t feel bare once the tree is gone. I’m keeping a simple winter tablescape and cozy touches—faux evergreen, snowflake plates, pinecone candles, and “snowball” decor—then ending the night with an easy roasted vegetable dinner.

I also share a personal story about learning to surf and how fear can build after a few wipeouts—an analogy that perfectly describes how it can feel when the new year brings pressure, overwhelm, and that stuck/frozen state.
