Paul Currie, 37, from Ardoyne, North Belfast, spent twenty-five years trapped in addiction. From a young age he believed drugs loved him as much as he loved them — but they led only to hardship, pain, and self-destruction. His life became a journey through darkness, into places he never wanted to go, doing things he never wanted to do.
Through divine intervention, everything changed. God reached into Paul’s life in a powerful way. With hesitation at first, but then with surrender, he allowed God to take control. Today his life is no longer ruled by his own will, but by God’s.
Paul’s story is one of transformation. He speaks of the need for change in every way — laying down the old life and walking in God’s will. As he says, “Jesus will meet us halfway, but when we’re meeting Him our half, bring a shovel.”
His testimony is a reminder to trust, surrender, believe, and receive.
