The Light Seller: Retro Halloween Cat

This is one of those times where I got almost to the end, and then decide I reallyl didn't klike what ' had done, so goodbye hat, we will revisit you soon.

Until then...

Cats, everybody likes cats, everybody that matters at least. This shadowbox uses a premade strand of LED C3 style lights. The original battery case has gone out, probably corrosion, but it was left sitting around with its batteries still inserted, so it could have been a number of things.

Luckily I have several battery holders that use the same number and size of the ones it originally used.

I also wanted to try and use external power switches where ever possible so it all works out.

I also like how the string lights illuminated the entire piece, the LEDs work well to simulate candles, but having a much brighter wall of light really helps some of these larger ones "Pop" and really shows off the colors and textures.

Next time we are going back to Jack Jack-O-Lanterns, but mini sized.
