"Crumbs" (Demon) by YakobNugget, YoReid, 100foxes & more | Geometry Dash 2.11

This year didn't have only one Christmas megacollab with kr1tmas; Crumbs is another one by a completely different team of creators. It's hosted by YakobNugget and features many of the creators he's worked with in the past, but also some new ones. Perhaps the most noteworthy thing about this level is its length, which is over 5 minutes. That's not something I was expecting from a Christmas level to say the least.

From the start, it's clear that this follows a Christmas theme. Some parts later on look more like a general winter theme, but that's close enough to work alongside the Christmas parts. Another thing I noticed right at the start is the song. I'm not sure how well I think this one fits a Geometry Dash level personally. It's not on Newgrounds, so you may end up playing this with the remix that is available on there, which may fit the game a bit more. Songs with lyrics have a weird relationship with Geometry Dash in my opinion, but it may be something that has to grow on you. Let me know what you think about the song choice in the comments. There are definitely parts of the song that I think fit the game a lot more than others, such as the one at 0:55, which has a quick beat, allowing for nice gameplay synchronized to the song. On the other hand, the part of the song before this is so slow that there can't be much gameplay if you want it to be synchronized. Overall, though, I'd say the creators did a good job working with the song.

With a level this long, there's bound to be some variable quality throughout, but it's relatively high here in my opinion. That's especially true for the gameplay, which is clear and fun for the majority of the level. It's a bit boring in the slow parts of the song as mentioned in the previous paragraph. However, there aren't too many parts that are that slow. Megacollabs usually struggle with gameplay during transitions, but that wasn't really an issue for me here; you get enough time to see what you have to do. The visuals are a bit more variable throughout with some using the theme very well, while others don't really do much. In levels that use very concrete themes like Christmas, I think art creators usually work the best. The parts with the best art related to Christmas look the best in my opinion. In this case, I'd say 0:55 is my favorite because of what I just mentioned, but there are many parts worth noting throughout. Like kr1tmas, this was also started only about a month ago, and considering the very long length, I'd say it's understandable that the visual quality goes a bit up and down. I'm glad the gameplay turned out this nice, though. This is definitely worth giving a shot if you want to play a nice Christmas level. It will probably be an Epic Easy Demon.
