MANGALURU TO BENGALURU DAY JOURNEY BY KSRTC AMBAARI UTSAV | SHIRADI GHAT | HEAVY FOG |

Watch my bus journey from Mangaluru To Bengaluru by KSRTC'S Brand new Ambaari Utsav Volvo 9600 . This bus is scheduled 1 PM from Mangaluru KSRTC Bus Stand and scheduled to reach Kempegowda Bus Station by 8:30 PM . The bus route is via - BC Road , Uppinangadi , Shiradi Ghat , Sakleshpur , Hassan , Bengaluru . Recently KSRTC'S Mangaluru Depot bought around 4 Airavat Club Class 2.0 an 3 Ambaari Utsav Volvo 9600 buses . All the buses are now running on Bengaluru - Mangaluru routes only . Whereas the other 2 Utsav buses are also running on Mangaluru - Bengaluru but on other route that is via - Sullia , Sampaje Ghat , Madikeri , Mysuru . 2 years ago when KSRTC had introduced these Utsav buses they had an Utsav on day time from Mangaluru to Bengaluru , but that one got cancelled maybe due to low occupancy . So now after getting these new buses they started to operate again on daytime . The bus fare is 1120/- on weekdays and 1300/- on weekends . KSRTC offers a discount of 15% on the original base fare for booking from Monday to Thursday . I had been doing back to back trips so hence got ill due to continuous travel . Due to the strain I was travelling with a ever of 102 F on board . I got rest until Kalladka where they had stopped for lunch. I started the cabin ride from Kalladka onwards. Since i travelled during monsoon rains Shiradi Ghat was at its peak . We could pass through scenic views as well as zero visibility on the ghat due to the fog . Satish sir drove the bus extremely well on the ghat even though there was zero visibility on the ghat . We stopped for loo break after Chowlagere toll . We halted for Tea Break at Hotel Dhruvathare near Yediyur . I got off at Goraguntepalya at 9:10 PM since we had to come under the flyover as on wednesdays they wont be allowing buses on the flyover .
