Randy Wicker, aged 87, urged LGBT+ activists to keep fighting 2025's reactionary politicians. He pointed out that an earlier LGBT+ movement in Germany between 1986 and 1932 made great strides, only to be wiped out by Nazis in 1932. He is the sole survivor of the five who set the first legal landmark of the community to successfully demand public accommodation and public assembly in 1966 at Julius Bar, one block from The Stonewall in NYC's Greenwich Village.
