Here I show you the tools that you will need for waterproofing or at least making a lot more water repellant to a convertible car top . The same principles will apply if you are doing some patio furniture or some canvas on a watercraft . 303 Fabric Guard is an amazing product , even after 2 1/2 years that have gone by when I did this top, I still had decent water resistance although on my last wash I could tell that the water was starting to soak into the canvas a bit. That told me it's time for a new application . You do want to take precautions to not breathe in the vapors, be sure and protect your eyes and skin .
