The final act of Operation Market Garden in September 1944 was the evacuation of the surviving British and Polish paratroopers from the Oosterbeek perimeter (called Operation Berlin).
In this video I look at the view from the southern bank of the Lower Rhine today looking towards the pocket area and then from the area behind the Lonsdale church over which the paras evacuated.
