The 2012+ Ford Focus has no cover over the footrest area, just the same carpet as the rest of the floor. That area will mostly be used often but hard to keep clean with just the carpet. With the addition of this aftermarket footrest/dead pedal, it will give a cleaner look and aesthetically pleasing in that area. The aftermarket pedal showcased in this video is from eBay, just search for 'Ford Focus Pedal' will give you a lot to choose from.
