NYX perform Everything I Wanted For You live at The state51 Factory

NYX's music is both primal and ethereal, pulsing with energy and delicate introspection. Their state51 Factory session showcases this at its most intense by boiling their usual 7-piece ensemble into duo form, with Sian O'Gorman (vocals/electronics) and AJ Turner's (piano/violin) captivating performance distilling the emotive essence of NYX's songwriting.

It was a gloriously sunny day, so we brought NYX away from the bright space we usually shoot the sessions in to the room next door: a sparse, windowless room with metal corrugated ceiling. Our very own underworld, and one perfect for their mysterious, labyrinthine soundscapes.

The full session features songs from their eponymous album, released in March of this year, and includes a heavenly cover of Suicide's 1979 classic 'Dream Baby Dream'.
