God speaks through Prophet Zechariah and urges people to return to Him so that He will return to them.
When we return to God; God comes to us with spiritual and material blessings. In place of poverty and starvation, the word of God becomes the living bread to feed us the spiritual food. This living bread brings healing to our spirit and body. When our spirit and body are healed, we enter into the freedom that comes by living in the Holy Spirit.
However, if we refused to repent from our sin, then, starting with famine, plagues and slavery; we will live in total bondage to the demonic world.
So, it is better to repent from our sins as soon as possible and return to God just as we are so that God can restore whatever the devil has taken from us.
Repentance always brings restoration.
