I didn’t build a shelter. I didn’t set up a bed. I didn’t even lay down a tarp. I just threw on my wool poncho, my “Woncho” and went to sleep in the misty cold of the Rockies.

At 8,000 feet elevation with temps dropping to 35°F and light rain falling, this wasn’t exactly a cozy night out.
