Lakewood S-223 20" box fan. This fan was in amongst the first portable fan videos I uploaded to YouTube nearly a decade ago, figured it was due for a much better new video. Originally it was my grandparents' fan, but it slowly merged into my collection over the years as they lost track of which fans were mine and theirs. As a very young fan enthusiast, this particular fan was my first exposure to box fans with totally square cabinets. I was used to seeing the rounded corners in most cases, this one was always interesting and unique to me in the early days because I'd never seen others like it. I've never used this one much since it runs louder than a lot of the other options I have on hand, but it's always run great with very little maintenance. It hasn't been turned on in for probably years again, but I didn't even add oil or anything for this video. Just plugged it in and it seemed pretty good to go! This will always be a top favorite childhood fan for me.
