I've been up these crags several times before, but never to camp - so today was the day.....and it turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far. Holy moley was it punishing!
So I biked the first few miles - stashed it, donned the big handbag and started the hike up to the plateau and trig point, which stands at 498m.
There's no footage from the hike up because filming was the last thing on my mind, it took every ounce of strength and determination to clamber up that last hill, through the tough wiry overgrown heather - and all this with a big handbag on, and a knee that doesn't bend properly...and that was only the start of my troubles....
