In this video I tram the cncrouterparts.com spindle mount. This same technique applies to their tramming mounts whether it's for a spindle or a router.
Tools used:
1pc of glass
Paper
Harbor freight feeler gages
Dremel with cut off wheel to cut the gages
5mm Allen socket
6mm Allen socket
Crescent wrench

You can also check your tram by actually cutting in both the y then x axis to check for steps in your cuts. But this method is far more accurate.
