We stayed in the beautiful Yamamotoya Ryokan in Kinosaki, we highly recommend it! It's centrally located with easy access to all of the onsen. It also has its own onsen which is private for hotel guests only.
The ryokan features a meal but you can opt to not get the dinner. We decided to opt out of the meal.
The Ryokan only has 12 rooms, so you need to book early!
The yukata rental used to be included when we went, but now it seems that they charge 500 yen.
