A multi-disciplinary artist and multi-instrumentalist singer/songliner, ZackieL’s style of ‘Global Soul’ music was born during ten years travelling, studying and performing worldwide.

He is also an events organiser and MC, a musical facilitator for wellness retreats, a music mentor and field recordist trained in Ethnomusicology.

ZackieL spoke with us personally about his experience as co-founder of Ubuntu Village: the Decolonial Healing and Humanity Space which they share at various gatherings throughout the UK.

Ubuntu are an arts collective and community for intercultural, interracial, intergenerational decolonial education and healing works.
