Disney Heroines - "Strong"

I'm very glad to be back to my usual uplifting content after cough my last upload... 😬😅
I have to say, after that whole ordeal I've come away from it feeling much better about myself, which is the opposite of what I expected to feel at first.
I learned more about what I want and what I don't want, and I've also gained more respect for myself for being able to set necessary boundaries when it was difficult to do so.
Sometimes people and situations enter our lives to teach us things. And what I think I've learned most of all is that I need people in my life who bring me peace, not drama. Joy, not heartache. Clarity, not confusion.
God is so good and I believe with everything in me that he has that special person for me out there, somewhere. I need only be patient and trust in His perfect timing.
In the meantime, I will take inspiration from these strong and inspirational ladies and princesses who believed in a beautiful future for themselves 💜
I hope that hearing of my situation gives some of you out there comfort as well ☺

Also just a side note I was thinking of when making this: One of the lyrics in this song is "trust in your heart."
"Listen to your heart" is such a common phrase in our generation, and it sounds nice on the surface. But truthfully, the Bible tells us that the heart of man is desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). So it's important to remember, the key to finding true happiness and joy in this world above all else is to trust in the LORD "with" all our heart (Proverbs 3:5-6, my favorite verse ☺)
I just wanted to take this opportunity to talk about that a little because even though it's just a simple common phrase, even little things like that can lead us astray without us even realizing. Only God, when He lives inside of us, can guide our hearts toward what is right and good...and the good news is, we need only say a simple prayer and ask Him to come into our hearts 💜
He is always just waiting for us to ask Him!
