It is time to change the drive tires on my Exmark Metro 48. I did this while leaving the wheels on the mower. I purchased the replacement tires from Amazon and have the link in the description. All you need is a couple screw drivers and some compressed air and your good to go. These are not hard to change out but can be a little frustrating for the first time.
Leave the Wheel on the Mower
Let the air out of the tire
Valve Stem (removing Core)
Break The Bead (Break Tire Seal) Tubeless
Push in with Thumbs
Pry Tire off back of Rim
Pry Bar, Tire Iron or Large Screw Driver
Lock the Parking Break
I spilled the Slime
Clean the Rim
Replace the Valve Stem
Pull the old Valve Stem out
Lubricant Helps it seal
Pop! A new one in
Carlisle Turf Saver Lawn & Garden Tire - 13X6.50-6
Lubricate Your Bead!!! (Soapy water is Fine)
I use a Vice Grip to Keep the tire from Slipping off
