Elton John Meets Ireland's Tiny Dancer

Elton John met Lily-Mae, Ireland's Tiny Dancer, last night in the 3Arena at his concert. She was his special guest and he went out of his way to make her feel special. His time was our time, there was no rush, no sense of intrusion, no awkwardness, he was sincere and interested in how she is now and what the future holds for her.

She gave him an autographed copy of her CD, "To Elton John, Love Lily-Mae, ❤️ xxx," and he signed a copy for her, "To Lily-Mae, my Tiny Dancer, love always, Elton x."

She gave him a golden ribbon for his lapel, the symbol of The Childhood Cancer Foundation and a purple Sunni-Mae Trust wristband, and he gave her the gift of wearing them for her, for photographs and for his show.

He dedicated his performance of Tiny Dancer to Lily-Mae and brought the Tiny Dancer project to the sweetest conclusion possible.

Musical icon on stage and sweet man off stage, Elton John is a genuinely decent human being.
