The clip is from the video 'Good morning Dawn', which was made to commemorate the British Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977, and focuses on Bo'ness Fair Day. The clip is from after the 'regionalisation/re-organisation', of Scotlands Local Government in 1973. So at this time, Bo'ness was part of Falkirk District Council, which itself was part of Central Regional council. The man at the beginning of the video is a journalist from the Bo'ness Journal, named John McLaren. Interviewed is 'last remaining' Labour Councillor Charlie Snedden, as well as four SNP councillors at the time. The older man is Fred Jamieson, an SNP councillor, who owned 'Jamiesons Hardware', on Market Street in the town. Robert Davies is also interviewed, also an SNP councillor, from Liverpool originally. John and Harry Constable, who were sitting SNP councillors all the way up until their death in 2011, and 2007 respectively. In Bo'ness today there is a street named after the Constables 'Constable Court' and also more recently after Charles Snedden, in 'Charles Snedden Avenue'. Tam Dalyell, MP at the time, (labour) is interviewed at the end.
