My first visit to Ayrshire and to a wee river which was running high and dirty. It was full of hard fighting Brown Trout and Grayling and there were some bigger ones too. I just took my Euro nymphing gear as I didn't want to take another rod through the trees and undergrowth. I will definitely be back - it was terrific sport. There are loads of great rivers throughout Scotland and the UK and I need to find more time to get out and explore.
