Mike Straw: “Half-Life 3 is a Steam Machine launch title, with Steam hardware set for spring 2026.”

He also said the reason HL3 has not been announced this year is that Valve is worried about the economics of RAM prices and their effect on the hardware. Recent Half-Life 3 Rumors:

-Dates were given to catch leakers
-Pretty much all dates have already passed
-Game will be a launch title with the Steam Machine
-The announcement is being held back because the price of the Steam Machine is not yet finalized
-PC RAM prices are the problem right now
-The window was Spring 2026 for the Steam Machine and Half-Life 3
-HALF-LIFE 3 IS REAL
-Valve wasn’t ready (yet)
-It’s just a matter of when, not if
-HL3 leakers aren’t random one-off people This is the end.
Half Life 3 / HLX is tomorrow or next year.

Mike Straw's date was revealed to have been wrong.

According to several sources, Valve's original plan was in October, then pushed to November and it was pushed again since.
