How To Rebuild A Holley Carburetor 4160 - Part 3 - Rebuild

This is Part 3 of a four part series detailing how to remove, disassemble, rebuild, and install a Holley 4160 carburetor (# 80457-2) that's on my 1967 Ford Mustang. As I am NOT an expert, this is an amateur's view on how to do things. In other words, I WILL make mistakes. Hopefully by watching these videos, you won't make the same mistakes I do.

--------- TOOLS ---------
four bolts (5/16" x 4") with 8 nuts (to create feet for the carburetor to sit on)
large flat blade screwdriver
small flat blade screwdriver
large Phillips screwdriver
small Phillips screwdriver
petroleum jelly
crescent wrench or metering valve tool or 1 inch socket
Holley 37-119 Repair Kit
5/16 socket
5/8 socket
3/8 wrench
7/16 wrench
11/16 wrench
regular pliers
small needle-nose pliers
torque wrench that can be set to inch pounds

--------- TIPS ---------
don't use a screw driver to pry the parts apart as it may tear the old gaskets
don't get anything inside the engine when you remove the carburetor
have a rebuild kit ready to go before you remove the carburetor
use torque wrenches
the discharge nozzle washers are in the kit, they'll deform when you install them
do not install the choke first, install the secondary diaphragm THEN the choke
