On Saturday, Amtrak 19 was nearly 2 hours late, resulting an a daylight run in Seneca. Unfortunately, it rained very heavily on that morning around that time which slowed me down from being out the door. As a result, I missed it by maybe 10 minutes, but I still tested my luck and sure enough, I hear 24X round the bend before I even finish getting my camera set up. The next day on Sunday, I ended up catching a rare military train, almost having it meet 283, since they were only minutes apart. Had I chosen to go back to downtown Seneca I would have had the meet since I heard both of their horns at the same time after 283 passed, but oh well, at least I still got em both.
