Early morning ride on my Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, pushing myself to cover 103 kilometers in just 1 hour 3 minutes. The challenge wasn’t speed alone, the road conditions were far from perfect. Even though it’s a highway, potholes and rough patches demanded extra caution. The GT 650 is a café racer, not an adventure bike, so riding smart and protecting the machine was the top priority.
After a certain point, the roads in Pondicherry opened up with much better surfaces, where I finally had the confidence to push the bike to its top speeds while staying controlled and focused. This ride is all about balance - enjoying the performance of the GT 650 while respecting its limits and the realities of Indian highways.
