This video, Realty Bytes, has been made as part of Building Trust, a book produced by The Hindu and the Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA).
The K-RERA has laid the foundation for regulations in Kerala’s realty sector and brought together the promoter, the allottee and the real-estate agent, the major stakeholders, in a rare synergy.
The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the Kerala Real Estate Development Rules, 2018, and the Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority (General) Regulations, 2020, form the legal framework for the regulations.
The K-RERA came into effect on January 1, 2020.
