KA-NAYITI is a movie about Child abuse and Domestic Violence, in many societies.
Silivia has moved in to stay at Silika' s after the death of their mother because, one, Shida is her elder sister and two, she wants to be helped to finish her secondary school education.
She is hopeful that Shida will convince Sirika to help her with school fees or that Shida, being a school teacher, will help her enroll in school but she gets caught up in Shida's domestic complications. Shida is Sirika;s devoted wife despite the violence he subjects her to.
She endures it all when he sexually abuses her sister Silivia....when he stops her from working as a teacher....when he suspiciously accuses her of having an affair with the chairman...when he sets up her own son Silas, to spy on her and so much more.
