ସରକାରୀ ଅର୍ଥ ଆତ୍ମସାତ ପାଇଁ ଜୀବିତ ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କୁ କାଗଜପତ୍ରରେ ମୃତ ଦର୍ଶାଇ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ କାଳୀନ ସହାୟତା ରାଶି ହଡପ । ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଚାଲିଛି ବଡ଼ ଧରଣ ର ନକଲି ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ ରାକେଟ । ଏପଟେ ଦସ୍ତାବିଜଗୁଡିକୁ ଯାଞ୍ଚ ନକରି ଜୀବିତ ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କ ନାଁରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁକାଳୀନ ସହାୟତା ମଞ୍ଜୁର କରିଥିବାରୁ ଶ୍ରମ ବିଭାଗ ଏବେ ହରଡ଼ଘଣାରେ । ଏହି ସ୍କାମରେ କିଛି ସରକାରୀ ଅଧିକାରୀ ସାମିଲ ଥାଇପାରନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ସନ୍ଦେହ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବାସିନ୍ଦା ।

A major scam has come to light in Nabarangpur district, where living labourers were shown as dead in official records to misappropriate government death assistance funds. The fraud was allegedly carried out by using fake certificates to claim death-related benefits.
