Today I'm discussing how I chose Obstetrics and Gynecology as my field of choice in medical school and why I tried REALLY hard to talk myself out of it. If you're a medical student trying to pick a specialty, maybe this will help you. If you're a person outside of medicine I hope it gives you a little insight into why we do what we do - hint: it's not for the money or the great working hours.
