Whew, I'm super nervous about milling this drum shell today. Don't have any more wood, and things can just bust out when you're taking off this much material. Gotta keep a close eye, make sure I don't remove too much.
It's got the Welch tuning mechanism that lets me quickly adjust the pitch up or down. Really unique sound. Plus three snare wire positions - loose, medium, tight. Tons of resonance.
I don't think I've built one quite like this before. Only one around with this Welch setup. I'm just super excited to have it all come together.
