This video demonstrates how to weave a patterned band with a rigid heddle.
The pattern threads are twice as thick as the background threads. The weft is yellow, the same colour as the background threads in the pattern area.
The weft is beaten with the shuttle .
This video was made to accompany an online workshop for the Online Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers in 2025.
