Conservative vs Aggressive - How do you play Disc Golf

I am now officially 7 weeks in on my Journey.
I thought it would be a good idea and also add more shot shapes to my game by playing 9 holes at my local course with the twist of conservative vs aggressive allowing me to look at different decisions on the course I need to consider.
I feel working on shaping the mental aspect of the game is just important as working on your form. I know I am at a pretty open course, but I need to start somewhere, key is I am starting...Right? I look forward to challenging myself on tougher courses as I build.
Let me know if this is something you enjoyed and I will look at some more courses with more of a challenge both mentally and physically.
