Welcome back to another Holiday Detour... a little seasonal side-step from my usual wildlife and eagle-cam coverage. I couldn’t resist sharing this one: Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee put on an absolutely dazzling holiday lineup and I wanted to bring you along.
This video focuses on POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance, Gaylord Palms’ new cirque holiday show - a 35-minute, Broadway-caliber spectacle that blends aerial and circus acts, magic, original music, and more. The production features an international cast of performers, a big collection of show-stopping costumes, and inventive staging that made me grin the whole time.
You’ll also see highlights from the resort’s grand atrium light displays (so much color and holiday atmosphere) and a few snapshots from ICE! — featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ - A classic walk-through ice experience with carved storybook scenes from Rudolph, multi-story ice slides, and much more. YES - all of these scenes are fully composed of actual ice!!!
