More wheeled vehicles that are capable of putting big holes in battlemechs today with the Typhoon urban assault vehicle. But let's just short hand this to Typhoon otherwise we might be here all bloody day.
Where was I? Oh yeah, so I have been a long time fan of Red Letter Media and you should be as well, their channel produces some great videos about good movies, bad movies and movies you may never have heard of before. I started watching them with the Plinkett reviews star wars movies videos way back when the UK wasn't as big of a laughing stock as it is today. Ah those where the days. Anyway RLM have been writing really long descriptions in their videos and I thought as a fan I would do the same. Some of you (possibly 1 of you) seems to find me at least mildly entertaining or hell bordering on funny though I think the jury are still out on that one.
So why not give those of you who actually read the descriptions a little update for the channel. The plan is to get a new episode of Best in class out this month specifically the episode dealing with the medium 'mechs. I have also been tinkering with the idea of a clan version of the series but that might need more time and a different gimmick. Gears 5 will also continue since I have it recorded and yes I have been dragging that series kicking and screaming onto the channel for far too long now. I think that is my biggest issue really. Getting in the regular flow of new content for people. LoreWarriors are great and easy to make and definitely the thing the vast majority come here for and I like that. I also try new things and yes they don't get anywhere near are many views but I do like making them regardless. I never really started the channel to make money or beg for views really, just as something for people who wanted to learn more about Battletech.
My look at the time. I also want to make more Why I.... vids about games like Powerwash Simulator, Alan Wake, Mavel's Midnight suns, Payday 3 and more. These are fun because I'm not making reviews since I find reviews to be largely redundant since they are that persons opinion and you can find all reviews for games (well most, looking at you LOTR Gollum) to have a mix of good, bad and indifferent but one thing I do like about reviews is the gameplay footage and I like to base it on that really. So the Why I vids are mainly to show the game and just have me talk about it a bit.
Now for those of you who have read this far, just add Why I to your comment below and I will know you have gotten this far :D I am looking to make a series that will only make sense to a very small number of people out there but hear me out. Street fighter VI tournament series where the AI fights itself. It has been one of my favourite things in fighting games forever and I have always wanted to make a series where I just run commentary over the action and upload the fights. Hopefully I can make them entertaining, I might try and make a character for it to be more over the top but I will try and get those done for years end.
This has been quite nice to type up. This year has been kind of ruined sadly due to the loss of Alex. I still catch myself out thinking about the stream on Friday and if Davros can play X game or not and then remember. I won't lie I was close to quitting youtube and twitch because of it. I often worried about how I would handle something happening to him but never actually expected it to happen you know? He was always in and out of hospital and he always bounced back as chirpy as ever. Now things are weird without him. I want to get his reaction to news and games but I can't and it fucking sucks he won't get to play Stalker 2. But I also know he wouldn't have wanted me to quit and definitely not be sad all the time, likely telling me to stop being a little scrub and get back into it. Typing this helps me a little and the comments about the vids or just reading you have conversations about the vehicles is cool to see. I might not be as readily active to responding to comments but I do try to respond as often as I can.
ANYWAY. As always thanks for taking the time out of your busy day, cosy afternoon, post work drive home, evening hobby time or whenever to listen to make talk about a made up wheeled tank for nearly thirteen minutes. Have a good week everyone and talk at you next time on Sunday.
