पश्चिम महाराष्ट्रात पट्टेरी वाघ आहेत असं म्हटलं तर कोणाला खरे वाटणार नाही. नुकत्याच झालेल्या एका सर्वे नुसार सह्याद्री प्लॅट्यू मध्ये २१ वाघांचा अधिवास आढळून आला आहे. चांदोली राष्ट्रीय उद्यान आणि कोयना अभयारण्य यांना एकत्रित सह्याद्री व्ह्याघ्र प्रकल्प म्हणतात. पूर्वी सह्याद्रीत वाघ होते मात्र मधल्या काळात वाघ निघून गायब झालेले. वाघ जंगलात असणं म्हणजे ते जंगल परिपूर्ण असल्याचं लक्षण मानलं जातं. वाघ सह्याद्रीत पुन्हा यावेत यासाठी वनविभागाने पडद्यामागे नक्की काय काम केले? सह्याद्रीत खरच पट्टेरी वाघ आहे? सह्याद्रीतून वाघ निघून जाण्याची कारणं काय होती या आणि अशा अनेक प्रश्नांची उत्तरं तुम्हाला या पॉडकास्टमध्ये पाहायला मिळणार आहेत.
