How can we effectively drive change? Structures and good leadership are the most obvious drivers, but they are not enough. Daniela Marzavan describes a complete taxonomy of change in her Social Practice Lens: she identifies a number of additional drivers of change, that have, so far, been clearly underrated - a powerful toolbox which helps us to design a positive climate for transformation. Daniela is a “Change Darer” - that is what she named her company and that is how she lives and works. She was born in Romania, grew up in Germany and spends her work and private life between the Iberien Peninsula and Antananarivo. She describes herself as a “Pracademic” (half practitioner, half academic). She was one of the first academics to bring the innovative method Design Thinking into university teaching, she was Community Manager at the Berlin coworking space betahaus, and she has worked for the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) as well as other well-known organisations. Daniela has made it her goal to promote and relish change. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
