हाम्रो जिब्रो कति शक्तिशाली छ? How Powerful is our Tongue? Elder Tharka Gurung

जिब्रो हाम्रो शरीरको एउटा सानो अङ्ग भए तापनि यो आफैमा शक्तिशाली छ । बाइबलले हामीलाई जिब्रोमा जीवन र मृत्युको शक्ति हुन्छ भनेर बताएको छ । प्रेरित याकूबले पनि आफनो पत्रमा यसलाई आगो सँग तुलना गर्नुभएको हामी पाउछौँ । जसरी एउटा सानो आगोको झिल्काले ठूलो वन पनि स्वाहा पार्न सक्छ, त्यसरी नै यो सानो जिब्रोमा पनि हाम्रो जीवनको सारा क्रममा आगो सल्काइ हामीलाई नरकको आगोमा फाल्ने शक्ति हुन्छ । यसकारण हामीले यसलाई परमेश्‍वरको अनुग्रहमा, ज्ञानमा र उहाँको सामर्थ्यमा वशमा राख्‍नु आवश्‍यक हुन्छ । जब हामीले हाम्रो जिब्रोलाई नियन्त्रणमा ल्याउँछौ, तब हामी येशू खीष्ट जस्तै सिद्ध बन्दै जान्छौँ ।
The tongue is a small part of our body but it is powerful in itself. The Bible tells us that the tongue has the power of life and death. We find that the apostle James also compares it to fire in his epistles. Just as a small spark can set a great forest on fire, so too can this small tongue set our entire course of life on fire and lead us into the flames of hell. Therefore, we must submit it to God's grace, wisdom, and power. When we control our tongue, we become perfect like Jesus Christ.
