The X140 is my favourite route because it is fast, convenient and very easy to travel with! It goes from Harrow, South Harrow, Northolt, Yeading, Hayes, Harlington and Heathrow Central.
The route had the amazing opportunity to be operated by Metroline from Harrow Weald (HD) Garage, using Wright Gemini 3 B5LH's, from the 7/12/2019 - 3/9/2021, (less than 2 years).
Then, the route passed to RATP operating out of Harrow Garage (SO) or Canons Park (CP) - [please correct me on which one] using Gemini 3 B5LH's off 116 and 423 temporarily until its new Enviro400EV's came along. Then, in Late December/Early January, the new Enviro400EV's came into service, as well as the Wright SRM's (like the one in this video)!
I also love the new "RATP Dev London TRANSIT" logo. Usually, on a weekday, the Wright SRM's get subbed onto the 698 and come back onto the route after 5PM. The SRM's were nice before the refurbishment, because they look really different with the blue.
I think RATP are actually doing a decent job with the route, although I personally prefer it with Metroline! The route is part of 3 sub routes of the 140: School route 640, Night route N140 and Express route X140. The driver was alright, but the traffic costed the journey to last 59 minutes...

The SL9 was novated from RATP Dev Transit to First Bus London on the 28th February 2025.
