We arrived in Passau, Germany and decided to hike by ourselves, up the Passau Hill, to see and experience the 13th Century Passau Fortress situated along the Danube River. The panoramic view of the City of Passau is truly breathtaking. From the lookout tower, we can see the confluence of the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz rivers. We visited the medieval museum, the Hans Wimmer collection of sculptures and drawings, the Washi paper & lantern exhibit and enjoyed the visit to this Fortress. The Georgsberg lookout tower is a highly recommended "Must Visit".
