കൊച്ചി മേയർ സ്ഥാനം: കോൺഗ്രസിൽ കലഹം തുടരുന്നു;

കൊച്ചി മേയറെ തീരുമാനിച്ചതിനെ ചൊല്ലി കോൺഗ്രസിൽ തർക്കം രൂക്ഷമായി. തീരുമാനത്തിനെതിരെ ദീപ്തി മേരി വർഗീസും അജയ് തറയിലും അടക്കമുള്ളവർ രംഗത്തെത്തി. തീരുമാനത്തിന് പിന്നിൽ 'പവർ ഗ്രൂപ്പ്' ആണെന്ന് അജയ് തറയിൽ ആരോപിച്ചു. കൊച്ചി കാര്യത്തിലും ഒരേ മാനദണ്ഡം വേണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് മാത്യു കുഴൽനാടൻ എംഎൽഎ നടത്തിയ പ്രസ്താവന പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവിനെ ഉന്നമിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്. ഡിസിസി പ്രസിഡന്റിന് നേരെയാണ് ആരോപണങ്ങൾ ഉന്നയിക്കുന്നതെങ്കിലും വിമർശനങ്ങളുടെ മുന നീളുന്നത് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് വി.ഡി. സതീശന് നേരെയാണ്. പ്രശ്നപരിഹാരത്തിന് മുതിർന്ന നേതാക്കൾ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അതൃപ്തി പുകയുകയാണ്. നേതൃത്വത്തിന്റെ തീരുമാനങ്ങളിൽ ജനാധിപത്യപരമായ മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ലെന്ന വിമർശനമാണ് പ്രധാനമായും ഉയരുന്നത്.
