The next morning, I start my day with a hearty van life breakfast of...Coffee, before taking a 90-minute ferry to Sørøya, one of the most remote and untouched islands in Arctic Norway.

With Big Sur-like coastal cliffs and endless Arctic Ocean views, Sørøya is a van lifer’s dream—wild, rugged, and unbelievably stunning. Despite its usual harshness, I experience unexpected spring-like weather and even more spectacular aurora borealis displays! 🌠

This is my complete second winter of Winter Van Life in extreme conditions in the North, living in a van during freezing temperatures. Starting in November I go through the whole winter season of snowy winter adventures from November to April, with snow storms, blizzards, extreme cold, extreme snowfall, slippery roads and some amazing winter beauty as well.
