David my son loves to visit Grandma and Grandpa and they also like to read to him. This is one of the books they read together and he loves it. When I read it to him I like to test his memory and ask him what is going to pop-up! The page that he really likes is the pop-up T-Rex. Yes, you guessed it, he loves dinosaurs! The other page he looks forward to is the pop-up fire engine, he absolutely loves this vehicle, when he hears it going by, he gets real serious and concentrates on the siren. Is he scared? I think a little but I have mentioned to him that someone might need help and that the firefighters are on a rescue mission. So he might be thinking hard about that.🤔
I remember as a little girl loving pop-up books. I had this super old Halloween one and half of the pop-up figures didn't work and I would try to fix them with tape!😝 Maybe one day David will look back and have fond memories of this book that his grandparents spend so much time reading to him*
