Winter has arrived! We had to make a few last minute preparations before the storm hit. The snowmobile will be our only way in or out of the homestead, and we finally got to try it out! We canned a little Moose Bone Broth (and show you how you can preserve yours, too!), re-stocked the home apothecary and made a batch of elderberry syrup, set a few traps for small game, and did a little baking with our wild foraged berries from the summer.
